Firm Luxe review
The coil core should add more airflow and rebound than the all-foam Plank Firm, while both sides remain aimed at distinctly firm preferences.

What sets it apart
The 13-inch Firm Luxe is a flippable hybrid with Firm and Extra Firm sides, dense foam layers, and individually encased coils. A GlacioTex cooling cover is an optional sewn-in upgrade.
Our take
The coil core should add more airflow and rebound than the all-foam Plank Firm, while both sides remain aimed at distinctly firm preferences. It appears to be the better Plank option for shoppers who want firmness without giving up a hybrid feel.
Reasons to consider it
Comfort layers over a spring core offer a way to combine cushioning with a more responsive underlying support system.
The tradeoff
Hybrid construction alone does not establish edge strength, motion isolation or cooling. Those vary with the specific layer design.
These comfort observations are editorial inferences from construction and published firmness, not results of hands-on testing.
Price and configurations
The recorded queen configurations span $1,198.50 to $1,299. The lowest amount applies to the least expensive configuration observed, not every firmness, height or cover.
Distinct observed queen prices. Multiple options can share one price; these amounts do not identify a firmness on their own.
For context, the Firm starts at $999 in this catalog, $199.50 less than Firm Luxe. Compare the construction and firmness below before treating the difference as an upgrade.

Trial, returns and setup
Queen prices are without and with the GlacioTex cooling cover under code LABORDAY25. The trial requires at least 30 nights before a return, is limited to one use, and lists a $99 mattress return fee.
