Bed finder answers

The finder asks for sleep position, budget, firmness, preferred feel, sleep temperature, and sensitivity to a partner's movement. The answers and results are processed in your browser's memory while the page is open. The finder does not transmit them to Bed Atlas, save them in browser storage, or send them to mattress brands. Refreshing or closing the page clears them.

Site requests and cookies

Bed Atlas uses Google Analytics to understand visits and how pages are used. Google may collect page views, device and browser information, approximate location, and identifiers through cookies or similar technologies. The site does not send bed finder answers to Google Analytics as custom events. Bed Atlas also uses the OpenAI Ads measurement pixel to measure the results of our ads in ChatGPT. The pixel sets first-party cookies, including a reference to the ad you clicked if you arrived from one, and sends OpenAI a record when you click a shopping link that may earn us a commission, along with standard browser request information. The site does not send bed finder answers to OpenAI. Our hosting provider may process ordinary request information, such as your IP address, browser details, requested page, and time of visit, to serve and protect the site. The site also requests fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive standard browser request information under its own privacy practices.

Search and filter choices in the review library may appear in the page URL. A page URL can be included in ordinary browser history or hosting logs. We do not use finder answers in these URLs.

Email and external sites

If you email us, we receive the address, message, and any information you include. We use it to respond and may retain the correspondence for our records. Shopping and source links open other websites. Those sites may collect information or use cookies under their own policies. Shopping links may be affiliate links. If you click an affiliate link, the affiliate network or retailer may use cookies or similar technologies to record that your visit came from Bed Atlas, so Bed Atlas can earn a commission if you make a purchase. Affiliate links are labeled next to the link.

Changes and questions

We will update this page when our data practices change, including any addition of advertising technology or affiliate tracking, and revise the date above. For questions about this policy or an email you sent, contact john@bedatlas.com.
